Chill-out Saturday with Yoga Nidra - NOW FULLY BOOKED!

Saturday, 19th Jan

15:30 - 18:00 pm

After the success and very positive feedback of our previous Yoga Nidra sessions, I'd like to invite you to our next event to chill out completely, to rest deeply and to feel relaxed and renewed from head to toe.

The week is over (even the year) and it's time to rest. Don't you want to turn your weekends into an excitement and to discover the interesting in them? Yoga Nidra (yoga-sleep) is calming, de-stressing, and can help you to let go of your week with a positive attitude and a healthy outlook. If you feel tired, unmotivated or suffer from weekday schedules, cheer yourself up with yogic meditative sleep (Yoga Nidra) and some other yoga skills which may help you to feel good for the next week ahead!

What to expect: Briefly, Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing, healing and empowering form of guided meditation. It is practised in lying down position. The word Nidra means sleep, however it is far from the unconscious, "checked out" version of sleep you might think of normally.

Yoga Nidra is actually a state of consciousness in which the practitioner is deeply relaxed, nearing sleep, yet remains awake and aware. No previous yoga experience is needed for this deeply enriching practice.

£25 p/p, Advance booking required. Places are not secured unless paid for in full.

Relax & Renew® Restorative Yoga: Learning Conscious Deep Rest

Saturday, 23th Feb

15:00 - 16:30 pm

We work very hard in our lives, and while we may sleep, we rarely take time to rest. Restorative yoga postures help us learn to relax and rest deeply and completely. During deep relaxation, all the organ systems of the body are benefited. A few of the measurable results of relaxation are the reduction of blood pressure and the improvement of immune function, as well as improvement in digestion, fertility, elimination and the reduction of muscle tension and general fatigue.

Restorative yoga is an active conscious relaxation practice. It is neither stretching nor strengthening but very much opening, and intense in terms of creating ease and softness in your body physically, mentally and emotionally. It is a form of Yoga that’s scientifically aims your Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS) to artificially trigger “Relaxation Response” (feel good & heal/restore effect) in your body and does not require any strong physical effort. During a restorative yoga session, we create positions of ease and comfort with the help of props to promote maximum level of relaxation and health. It is a very gentle and therapeutic form of yoga with the goal of conscious deep rest. Restorative yoga facilitates your body's own natural healing quality. Resting is not a luxury or an optional privilege you have, it is essential for self-preservation and a manifestation of your respect to your unique life.

Relax & Renew® Restorative Yoga is a signature training and can be taught only by internationally registered teachers.

£20 Booking required through . Places are not secured unless paid for in full.

Yoga Basics for Fine Transitions

Monday, 4th March

19:00 - 21:00 pm

In this 2 hours workshop we will develop a better understanding and improve a better alignment in basic yoga transition postures such as lunges, easy seated postures, downward facing dog, child pose, plank, mountain pose, shavasana.

"The movement from one pose to the next provides a different kind of physical and mental challenge than holding poses. Because yoga pose transitions are dynamic (versus static), you’re stretching and strengthening the muscles and joints while moving, which results in a wider, more stable range of motion.

We will broken down a few yoga poses with typical transitions to sharpen your transition ability."

Places are limited for 10 guests only and advance booking is required.

Sunday, 17th March

14:30 - 18:00 pm

This is a great mini-half-day-retreat that you can experience not far from your home. A wonderful combination of a gong ceremony with a gentle yoga practice to prepare your body for the optimum benefits of a sound bath experience.

These information below are taken from Louise's Website. Please visit for press releases, testimonials and more...

Cacao is a beautiful, gentle, heart healing medicine that can help bring clarity where we are feeling unclear, focus where we are feeling scattered and clearing where we are stagnated and stuck. This medicine helps us access realms that are often unavailable to us when we are too caught up in the head and enables connection with the subconscious realms where deep seated healing can take place. With Cacao we drop down from the head into the heart where we can navigate with feeling instead of thought. Cacao helps disperse any blockages around the heart and coupled with the vibrations from the Gong we experience healing at a cellular level to rebalance the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies.

This intimate ceremony will give us the space and time to tune into the stillness within to connect to our deepest intuition, release any blockages that may be present, bring clarity to any areas that need our attention and help us enjoy a deep sense of peace and well-being.

Things you may experience….
A heart opening
Deep relaxation
A connection to your inner voice
An emotional release
A sense of peace and well-being
A heightening of your senses
Gentle visions and guidance
Clarity and stillness

What will happen during the ceremony?
We will begin by silently setting our intentions for the ceremony - being clear about your intention will help cacao to work her magic with you. We will mindfully drink the Cacao experiencing it’s warmth and presence in the body and you will then lie down to be bathed in relaxing, therapeutic vibrations from the gong as these medicines do their healing work. There is nothing for you to do as you take an inner voyage with the gong as your guide.

Comforting tea and healthy biscuits will be provided after the ceremony as we enjoy some time to share and write down any insights or wisdom that you've gained, whilst basking in the cacao glow : ))

For your comfort please bring blankets, cushions, bolster if you have any and water to hydrate your body after the session. Feel free to bring a journal to jot down any insights or anything that may come up for you.

Spaces are strictly limited and first come will be served first! Book your space early to prevent any disappointment later on! Early Bird discount £35 per ticket in January, February-March bookings £45 per ticket.

Venue: Parish Hall, Church Road, Loughton

PLEASE ARRIVE EARLIER FOR A PROMPT START AT 2:30 PM. Once the doors are closed, unfortunately we cannot stop the session to let you in.

Cacao contains theobromine which stimulates the system much in the same way as caffeine can. If you have a sensitivity to caffeine then please consult with Louise and you will discuss if you can still participate and have a very low dosage.

Cacao can react with anti depressants causing headaches so please let Louise know if you are on any medication before the session starts.

Gong is not recommended for the following...
Women in the first trimester of pregnancy
Children under the age of thirteen.
Those suffering with extreme mental health problems.

It is Lousie's intention to guide you through gong and cacao as a tool for self healing and she encourages you to see professional advice should any content unearth past traumas. With gratitude and respect.
