What To Expect?
Join us on this amazing day of mindfulness, energy-boosting yoga and education as we discuss how nutrition and small changes in your diet and lifestyle can play an important role in supporting your energy levels, as well as how yoga practices can further enhance and promote your well-being.
The day will begin with a warm welcome from Aslıhan, who will take you to the yoga mat for an energizing and invigorating yoga practice to get the oxygen flowing in your body and mind for the wonderful day ahead.
The next part of the event will be led by Laura Semmens, our guest expert on nutrition therapy & health coaching. Laura will guide you through the Health and Energy Assesment workshop, which helps you identify areas in your lifestyle and diet that may need fine-tuning for better feeling that you are craving for. After a nutritious lunch, you will go again with Laura and learn exactly how to optimize your energy levels and get that glow back.
We will finish the day with a wonderful grounding restorative yoga practice and guided yoga nidra (yogic sleep) session led by Aslihan.
Guest Expert – Laura Semmens from Stay Well Clinic
Laura Semmens is a nutritional therapist, certified health coach and wellness educator ( BA hons Early Childhood Studies; Dip NT, mBANT; mCNHC).Laura has spent most of her childhood in a rural village in Lithuania where her family farmed and grew their own food. Her passion for food and nutrition stems from her own experiences and health journey as young adult. After a successful 10 year career in education she has retrained in nutrition with the School of Health and College of Naturopathic Medicine to follow her interest in nutrition science. She strongly believes and advocates preventive health care to achieve optimal wellbeing through food and lifestyle choices.
