About the Event

Yoga & Nutrition Workshop for females who are keen to develop healthy eating habits, ensure better weight management, raise awareness about food - hormone connection, and nourish their yoga practice.

At the beginning of my wellness journey, the endless sources of information I could reach overwhelmed me. My starting point was to learn the facts and myths about healthy eating first.  From experience, I know well how developing personalized healthy eating habits can be painful and confusing. That's why I created these yoga & nutrition days so that you can easily access professional information.

This event is an extension of the Wise Women Workshops, and open to all levels including beginners to yoga. My aim is to offer you the opportunity to make informed choices about healthy eating, the connection of nutrients with your hormones, and the supportive elements of yoga in both areas. During the day, Laura (see her bio below) and I provide opportunities for you and your loved ones to learn how to buy and consume food in the healthiest way possible, ask any questions you have in mind, and take your yoga practice to the next level.

This event is an incredibly valuable investment in understanding your and your loved ones' healthy nutritional needs, and making healthy changes in your kitchen, cupboards and fridge. In this event you will find some practical solutions on how to make simple changes to your daily routine in order to improve your digestive health & mental wellbeing, helping you to feel more balanced, focussed, energised & peaceful as you go about your busy life.

Guest Expert – Laura Semmens from Stay Well Clinic

Laura is a holder of Dip NA (SOH), Naturopathic Nutrition Therapy (CNM) Specialist, and a full member of FNTP. She spent most of her childhood in rural village in Lithuania, where her family farmed and grew their own food. Her passion for food and nutrition stems from her own experiences and health journey. After a successful 10 year career in education she has retrained in nutrition with the School of Health and College of Naturopathic Medicine to follow her interest in nutrition science. Alongside her private clients, she works with a charity to support complex nutritional needs of vulnerable groups. she strongly believes in preventative health care to achieve optimal well-being through food and lifestyle choices.

SCHEDULE

An informative session where we will discuss the key principles of nutrition in daily life, how to nourish and love your body through healthier yet delicious food. We will explore the idea of mindful eating and practical tips on how to establish a good relationship with food. During this session, we will also discuss five main factors that can be contributing to your weight concerns, hormone imbalances and how to tackle stress! And most importantly why nutrition is the key here.
