On the day, we will have our regular weekly group yoga session (90 minutes) with an additional part hosted by Ayurvedic Dietitian and Lifestyle Coach Jay. Jay will join us with her wonderful herbs and spices and teach us how to use them properly without wasting their therapeutic effects. It will be a sensory and interactive session, and we will dive into the world of ayurvedic medicine and learn how herbal teas are made, how they are used in our kitchen and how we can benefit from their healing properties to find our inner balance.

Ayurveda, a  natural system of medicine, originated in India more than 3,000 years  ago. The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life)  and veda (science or knowledge). Thus, Ayurveda translates to knowledge of life, and like Traditional Chinese Medicine it is one of the other roots of today's modern medicine.
This friendly and informative morning of yoga & nutrition will include:
- 90-minute yoga sequence focusing on how to breathe effectively and condition the lungs
- Basic information about Ayurveda and its core principles - It will be at a very basic level suitable for everyone's understanding.
- A short survey to get an idea of your current Vikruti (imbalance) or current situation.
- Allowing the results of these guide you towards the best tea to bring balance to your body and mind
- More explanation on the properties of the components of the teas and why they might be beneficial
- Tea ideas to make at home with simple everyday ingredients
- Q & A session
- A gift bag with samples and discount codes
- A handful of handouts, fact sheets and easy-to-apply guides that you can use in your daily life for feeling good and healthier.
 Guest Expert - Jaymini Patel
Jay is an Ayurvedic Diet & Lifestyle Coach as well as a Reiki practitioner. She is very passionate about all things of Ayurveda, its connection with nature and helping as many people as she can to achieve balance in this increasingly busy world we live in. She is an advocate of holistic approach to wellbeing through simple but individually tailored plans that combine food, lifestyle, simple breathing and yoga poses, ayurvedic herbs and manual therapy suggestions. Her mission is bringing her clients back to a place they feel healthy, vibrant and full of vitality. Jay is currently studying to become an Advanced Ayurvedic  Practitioner as well, so she can offer even more targeted and refined treatment plans for her clients and to gain a deeper understanding of more serious and chronic diseases that are becoming sadly more commonplace.
